Founded in 1891 as the State College for Colored Students, DSU is proud of its heritage as one of the country’s first land-grant educational institutions. Today, it’s a welcome center of learning for students from many backgrounds.

The mission of the Office of Alumni Engagement is to strengthen the lifelong bond between Delaware State University and its alumni by fostering pride, engagement, and support. Through impactful partnerships with alumni, students, and community stakeholders, our work directly advances the University’s mission. By engaging alumni in mentoring, philanthropy, and service, we continue a tradition of HBCU excellence that reflects the values of DSU.
